Plamen Ovcharov is a Bulgarian visual artist,
born on November 11, 1998, in Ruse.
He graduated from the National School of Arts "Prof. Veselin
Stoyanov" in 2017, earned a Bachelor's degree in Painting from
the University of Veliko Tarnovo in 2021, and completed his
Master's degree at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia in
2025.His master's work, "Madame
Butterfly," was acquired by the Ruse State Opera, where he
is currently active as a painter.
He works predominantly in oil on canvas,
drawing influence from Neoclassicism, Art Nouveau, Secession,
and Realism. His artistic focus lies primarily in portraiture,
landscape, and symbolic compositions.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and between
March 2025 and January 2026, he held 10 solo exhibitions across
Bulgaria.
